Readers will be saddened to learn of the death of Michael Lambe, who died on 2 August 2016 in hospital in Belfast.
Many of you will have known Michael from his time as the Employment Law Caseworker at the Free Representation Unit, where he represented countless claimants and helped hundreds of aspiring employment lawyers who were taking their first steps in the profession. After a decade at FRU he moved to Whittles and then on to Collinson Grant.
Michael's family and friends will be holding a celebration of his life on 15 October in Manchester. They are also collecting anecdotes, photos and memories of Michael to keep for his four children; so that they can reflect on his life with warmth and pride and would appreciate any contributions.
