Glasgow Tribunal: Covid Measures

  • Posted

HMCTS has prepared guidance to assist people attending in-person hearings in the Glasgow Tribunals Centre.

In addition to the hand sanitiser and anti-bacterial wipes available in all hearing rooms, steps have been taken to minimise the amount of people in the building at any one time and to ensure social distancing.

  1. Clerks will escort parties in/out of the building to ensure social distancing

  2. Start times of hearings will be staggered

  3. Parties are requested to prepare a provisional timetable 5 days in advance, and only the first witness is to attend on day 1 of the hearing. Parties should also confirm to the tribunal that none of their attendees are suffering from covid symptoms.

All parties and witnesses are encouraged to wear a face mask when arriving and in the public areas of the building. Floor markings are in place on arrival to maintain the 2m distance, and only one person or household is permitted in the lift at any one time.

For more information, you can watch this short video prepared by the tribunal or access the guidance in full.
