BIS has made The Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order 2017, containing the annual increases in compensation payments, before Parliament. It applies to dismissals (or detriments, etc) occurring on or after 6 April 2017.
The main changes (tipping the maximum compensatory award over £80k) are:-
• a week's pay - £489 (currently £479)
• maximum compensatory award - £80,541 (currently £78,962)
