For Individuals

Daniel will represent individuals in high value cases, or cases involving matters of important public principle.  However, he regrets he cannot provide free legal advice for listeners to his LBC show.  If you wish to instruct Daniel, you must first engage a solicitor, and the solicitor will instruct Daniel on your behalf.  Some excellent sources of free legal advice are here.

If you are instructing Daniel Barnett directly, you may wish to review the Bar Standards Board Public Access Guidance for Lay Clients.

Timescales for your case may vary depending on factors such as Daniel’s availability, the complexity of your case, the need for additional documents and the other side’s approach.

Daniel's fee will usually be based on an hourly rate but in some circumstances, a fixed fee may be agreed. All rates are subject to VAT. For more information on fees and timescales, click here. These fees are indicative only; for more information and a quotation, please contact the clerks.
