Judge Simon, President of Employment Tribunals (Scotland), has announced she will be retiring this year.

She was a partner at Maclay Murray and Spens, during which time she was also the Equal Opportunities Development Adviser at the Scottish Parliament. She is the joint author of Mackay and Simon, Employment Law, and joint author and update editor of Simon and Taggart, Employment Tribunal Practice in Scotland.

In 2002, she was appointed as a salaried employment judge. She became President in 2009, and has fulfilled twelve years in the role.

We wish her a happy and healthy retirement. For those who wish to read it, this is her announcement of her resignation.
