The government has finally published its list of which overseas countries residents can give evidence from via video link. The list is here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/taking-and-giving-evidence-by-video-link-from-abroad#tribunals.
The list is not complete, but it’s a helpful start. The absence of such a list has been a problem in tribunals now for many, many years - requiring applications to individual consulates (often never replied to) in cases where a party wants to call a witness from overseas.
