1. Completion gives rise, upon acceptance, to a contract between the purchaser and Employment Law Services Ltd. ('ELS'). Acceptance occurs when a booking confirmation is sent out by ELS.
2. Copyright in all materials remains vested in ELS, subject to the terms of any licences as may be granted by this agreement.
3. All reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the contents of the material are accurate and up to date. However, liability is limited to the return of any fees paid by the purchaser to ELS for the services, licence or goods purchased.
4. Payment is due within 28 days of invoice and interest accrues on any unpaid debt at 4% above Barclays Bank plc's base rate.
5. All reasonable effort will be made to ensure the seminars take place on the advertised date and time. In the event that the seminar cannot take place, an alternative date/time will be substituted by ELS and delegates will be given the option of a full refund. ELS reserves the right to substitute speakers in case events beyond its reasonable control prevent the speakers from appearing.
6. ELS is not liable in the event of a failure of the technology used to provide the web seminar (either the telephone conferencing or the video weblink). If such failure occurs, ELS will repeat the seminar at an alternative date/time; however, no refund will be available.
7. Delegates will be provided with access to a recording of the seminar after it has taken place. ELS will not be liable in the event of failure of the recording equipment or the underlying technology. The recording will be made available in streaming video format.
8. The web seminar is accredited for 3 CPD hours by the Law Society, subject to satisfactory completion of multiple-choice questions at the conclusion of the seminar. The multiple-choice questions will be available for at least 30 days after the conclusion of the seminar.
9. The delegate undertakes not to pass access details for the seminar to any person outside his/her firm or company.
10. In the event that the live question and answer session has technical or other difficulties preventing live transmission, a written Q&A sheet will be distributed to all delegates within one week of the seminar, containing answers to a reasonable sample of the questions asked during the seminar.
11. If the delegate wishes to cancel, he must do so in
writing or by Email (to mail@emplawservices.co.uk)
at least seven days before the first seminar, in which case a full
refund less a £25 administration charge will be offered.
Cancellations taking place less than seven days before the first seminar
will not attract any refund.
12. ELS reserves the right substitute an
audio-only internet seminar (in place of the video seminar) on
seven days' notice, or to substitute or amalgamate the dates of
seminars. The delegate will have the right to cancel his/her
booking within seven days of such notice being given, in which
circumstances a full refund will be made.
