About Daniel Barnett General Daniel Barnett is a barrister at 1 Temple Gardens, specialising in employment law and associated commercial disputes. He is listed as a leading junior in the 'Legal 500', and described in the Times Law Supplement as "having carved out a strong reputation". He has been a member of the Employment Lawyers' Association's Management Committee for five years and chairs its Publishing Committee. He is editor of ELA Briefing and is editorial advisor to Employment Law Journal. He has recently been appointed employment law advisor to Acas. Daniel is the author of three employment law textbooks, including co-author of the Law Society Handbook on Employment Law (2nd edtn. Feb 2004) and Managing Dismissals (Tolley IRS, 2nd edtn. Nov 2004). He has been interviewed on television and radio and is often quoted in the national press. |
